FaaS from Lista Office LO as an element of the circular economy

Furniture as a Service (FaaS) is based on the circular economy principle, with a focus on the use and reuse of products. The model makes more efficient use of resources for both Lista Office LO and for the renter (raw materials, energy, infrastructure, administrative work, money), which is good for business and good for the environment.

The FaaS model is designed to include furniture in a sustainable circular economy. At the end of the rental period, the customer returns the furniture, which is then checked over, freshened up, and goes on to the next customer. This enable the furniture to be used by several customers over its full lifecycle – and beyond – thus ensuring it is utilised through its entire service life. This keeps new furniture production to a minimum, which saves valuable resources, reduces waste, and eases pressure on our planet.

Summary: The FaaS model, based on the principle of sharing and redistributing furniture forms an important pillar of the circular economy. It establishes a basis for sustainable use and combines convenience with environmentally responsible business.
